Berlin Porn Film Festival
One of the biggest events in the industry of adult movies takes place in Berlin. Surprisingly, that conservative country opens doors for one of the most promiscuous and conflictive events and shows hundreds of movies, which usually are restricted or banned because of their violent nature and negative effects they have on the society.
What is shocking is that porn industry has turned into art and creative work for some people, and women and men who participate there consider themselves real actors and real directors. Despite all the movies are not really different from each other, every production is considered important and it has special features, effects and stories.
Imagine that you are going to the Oscars and you have to put your best dress or suit, make your hair, go to the after party and talk to famous people. The porn festival has the same value and people think of it like for the most important event of the year.
However, I would say that this Festival, as it is called, is not really good example for anyone and shows negative aspect of behavior and can change social opinion about what is good and bad. This is because of all the effects porn has on the society, like dangerous behavior, changing women’s social image in a negative way, showing children sexual scenes, when they are still not prepared for that and leading to violent attitude towards family, friends and girlfriends. The word itself “festival” means celebrating some particular event and this is what is wrong about it. By celebrating the porn industry and its products, that means that our society officially accepts pornography by all means and spreads it among people of all ages. By making that event socially visible we show people that there is nothing wrong with pornography and what is more, we actually tell people to go and see it, we make them interested in that issue and strengthen these effects and change completely the social values.

The degradation is a fact, and if not fully banned, it can be at least reduced and not so visible.

Midsummer Night’s Dream, named after the Shakespeare’s comedy, is one of the biggest events that take place in US. It is organized by Hugh Hefner, the owner of the popular Playboy magazine, and is famous with its glamorous atmosphere, famous guests and gains great media attention not only because it is attended by the most popular people in the world, but because of the exposure of all Playboy models. What makes the party so exceptional is its unique creations, especially designed for the event. The party itself is nothing so special, except the guests and all the alcohol offered there, which naturally leads to promiscuous behavior and losing control over manners and modesty and diving into the real world of playboy, along with all desires, allowed to be freely expressed only that night in that house, without being judged after that. However, nothing remains hidden and everybody knows what happens in the famous Hef’s Mansion, where the guests go to “relax and have fun” after the party is over. Some people may say that it is pathetic for one 80 years old man to do things like this, but what is worse, is that most people support him and would be proud to be part of these parties. Anyway, who wouldn’t be, when you know that this is once in a lifetime opportunity and you should enjoy life as much as you can, just like Hugh Hefner does. And despite that that promotes great sexuality and people may be critical, we should admit that this man found the way to be happy and people cannot judge him for that. The truth is that if they do not want to be affected by the magazine and by the sexual exposure, they just have to forget about these things and live their lives in the best possible way.
